Cucumber

Nutrition Information:

Cucumbers contain several phytonutrients, as well as small amounts of vitamin K and A. These veggies are about 95% water, and make a great snack for keeping hydrating.

Storage Tips:

Store in a bag in the fridge, crisper area. Wash before use! If chopping them ahead of time, store in a bowl of water with a pinch or two of salt to help keep them from soaking up too much extra water.

Uses:

Cucumbers are great added to salads, made into cucumber salad, sliced and added to sandwiches, pickled, or added to juice or smoothies.
