Cantaloupe
Nutrition Information:
Eating cantaloupe is a great way to aid in hydration. It is a good source of Vitamins A and C, and a good source of minerals and antioxidants.
Storage Tips:
You can keep them on the counter or the fridge if you want to keep it for later in the week. They are nice to bring out of the fridge an hour or two before eating so they are more aromatic while eating. To freeze, cut cantaloupe into chunks and place on a baking tray with parchment paper. Once frozen, transfer to a freezer bag, and place back in freezer.
Uses:
Cantaloupe is great served fresh with yogurt or whipped cream. It is also delicious in fruit salads, breads, or even salsa. Frozen cantaloupe is good in smoothies, or used to make frozen sorbet/popsicles.
