Spinach

Nutrition Information:

Spinach has high water content and insoluble fiber, which aids in digestion. It contains Vitamins A, C, and K1, which helps your blood to clot properly. It is also an excellent source of Iron and Calcium.

Storage Tips:

The Spinach has been hydrocooled after harvest. Then we drain the leaves. Spinach has very tender leaves that get bruised when spinning so we just drain them. We encourage you to rewash it, just before use. The greens can remain in their bag until use, but should be used within 3-5 days.

Uses:

Spinach is good raw or cooked. Raw spinach can be used as a salad base, added to smoothies and juices, or added to sandwiches. Spinach can also be used in pasta dishes, sauces, curry, omelets, or wilted in a pan with butter and garlic.
