CSA Summer Newsletter: June 26th, 2023 (Week 5/23)

Hi Folks,

It's been a very bumpy road on our end, but the road is definitely getting more smooth now with our 4th week under our belt.  So, onward we go!

It was so dry, and now it’s sooooooooooooo wet!  We are loving the warm mornings.   Here are some quickie farm news: the potatoes are in full bloom, we are starting to see small fruit on the eggplant, saw a ripe tomato yesterday, we have a groundhog that’s smarter than I thought he was, our driver is quitting just in time to get the 4th of July off, my assistant didn’t last a week, the blueberries are getting bigger and yet to turn blue, harvested 700 pounds of sugar snap peas today, it hasn’t stopped raining…Life as usual here on the farm.  Gotta go with the flow…

But seriously, the rain should probably stop now that we are inundated with smokey air.  Peace be with you folks.

Your Farmers,

Chris, Aeros, and The Who Crew
