Popcorn
Nutrition Information:
Popcorn is high in Fiber, but has very limited vitamins and minerals. It has been a favorite snack in the Americas for centuries.
Storage Tips:
Popping corn is harvested dry. With kernels removed from the husk, store them in an air tight container in a cool, dark, dry space, such as a cabinet or pantry. Stored properly, the popcorn kernels can keep for quite a long time.
Uses:
To pop your popcorn, you’ll need to cook it on the stovetop in a pot with a lid. Add some oil to the pot and allow it to heat up to medium temp, then add in your popcorn. Shake occasionally. This should only take about 5 minutes. The popcorn may start to lift the lid off the pot, so keep an eye on it. Once done, pour into a bowl and add some seasoning!
