Kohlrabi is very high in Vitamin C, and is also a good source of Potassium, Fiber and B6. Kohlrabi is a good veggie for gut health, as well as being high in antioxidants. Kohlrabi can also be purple, white, or green colored on the outside, and is a member of the Brassica family.
Storage Tips:
Store Kohlrabi in the crisper drawer of the refrigerator, in a perforated plastic bag. It should last for 2-4 weeks if stored correctly. To freeze Kohlrabi, blanch and pack into storage containers before placing in the freezer.
Uses:
Kohlrabi can be sauteed, sliced and grilled, roasted in the oven, and can also be eaten raw. Kohlrabi is very versatile due to it’s mild flavor and crunchy texture.
