Tomatillos are a part of the nightshade family, and support heart health, and can help with reducing arthritis symptoms with their anti-inflammatory properties. They are rich in Potassium, Vitamin C, and antioxidants.
Storage Tips:
Tomatillos are best stored in a paper bag in the crisper drawer of the fridge when ripe. Do not remove the husks prior to use, they will store for 2-3 weeks. To freeze, peel off husks, wash and dry, and place on a baking tray in the freezer, then move to a freezer bag. They can also be chopped and added to a freezer bag.
Uses:
